As Senior Director of Government Affairs, Marc leads our Government Affairs Division, dedicated to supporting healthcare staffing needs at the Federal and State levels. Within just a few short weeks of joining our organization, Marc established a program that connects Floyd Lee Locums’ healthcare providers with the opportunity to perform Military Disability Evaluations (MDE).
Prior to his position with Floyd Lee Locums, Marc spent more than two decades in the Defense and Medical sectors. Most recently as the Commander of Joint Base Charleston, where he was Chief Executive of a military base with 24,000 employees—and, before that, working as Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Greene is a Board Member of the Low County American Red Cross and an Executive Fellow with the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina. In 2021, he was named one of the “50 Most Influential” by Charleston Business Magazine. Greene holds a doctorate focused in military strategy from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies—and a certificate in executive leadership from Cornell University.
