Meet Our Team: Nick Angellotti
In Nick’s role as Healthcare Consultant, he works to create a seamless, enjoyable experience for Floyd Lee Locums’ providers looking for their next career step. By leveraging his deep healthcare experience and understanding of the recruitment space, he connects clinicians to their right career fit.
Prior to joining Floyd Lee Locums, Nick worked for several years as the Director of Strategic Solutions in recruitment for Medical Marketing Services (MMS). There, he built and maintained client relationships by employing data and technology solutions and providing sourcing strategies.
An Illinois native, Nick enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children, Nolan and Norah. He loves watching sports (go Bears!), golfing, downhill/water skiing, hanging out at the lake, and is a big music fan.

What do you love most about working at Floyd Lee Locums?
I’ve always loved making connections with, and learning from, other people. I’ve enjoyed other sales & account management roles in the past, but here I’m in a unique position to cultivate deeper relationships as a byproduct of providing our services. We bypass the superficial with our providers and discuss aspirations, shortcomings, family, finances, and sometimes unfortunate events from their past. My favorite part of working at Floyd Lee Locums is the comradery and trust we build with our team and providers.

What are you most passionate about?
Family, music, football, and playing golf.

I am a documentary buff. I love diving into random topics that I wouldn’t otherwise be interested enough to look into.
Can you give us any advice about working at Floyd Lee Locums?
Don’t be satisfied with being brushed off by a provider and moving on to the next one. Expect it and dig deeper. It’s been a challenge to get comfortable with, but I’ve been very surprised at the conversations I’ve been able to have, and information I’ve been able to gather, when pushing through the first objections.
Anything else we should know?
I love food but don’t like shrimp, or most seafood in general.
