Meet Our Team: Ben Russell
Benjamin connects clinicians with positions and facilities that match their personal and professional goals. From confirmation to credentialing, placement to ongoing advocacy, he is there throughout the process to support the ongoing needs of clinicians to ensure a positive locums experience.
Prior to joining Floyd Lee Locums, Benjamin spent two years cultivating his staffing expertise as a Client Developer at CompHealth. In his time in their locums division, he was dedicated to solving the unique needs and challenges of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Team.
Benjamin’s personal life involves balancing his two loves: his family and adventure/endurance racing. When he’s not competing in triathlon/Ironman and Spartan endurance races, he’s enjoying hiking, camping, and time at the park with family.

What do you love most about working at FLL?
The family atmosphere hands down. I have felt like I have known my co-workers my entire life from day one. FLL Family means something, and I love and respect my co-workers as if we were blood!

What are you most passionate about?
This changes from year to year. The past few years have been a large focus on my passion for my family and my children. This year I am shifting to my passion for fitness and competition.
Tell us something unique about yourself.
I was raised ballroom dancing and doing ballet. My Mom was a world champion ballroom dancer back in the 70’s and my childhood was spent dancing. My wife and I met on a ballroom dance team back in college.
What is your best advice?
Focus on contribution, the rest takes care of itself. Upper leadership and all levels of management care for you and will have your best interest at heart, simply focus on contributing as much as you can in whatever area you can, the rest will take care of itself. Compensation, recognition, and future opportunities for growth will happen – if you contribute to the growth and to FLL.
