Charleston, SC, October 15, 2019 – South Carolina-based Floyd Lee Locums is impressing with its expanded focus on how locums tenens is delivered through its concierge approach. Effective immediately, Michelle Lathan has been promoted to Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness after previously serving as the company’s Director of Operations.
“Michelle was an operations guru out of the gate, delivering high-level strategies that allowed us to scale and support teams in the most impactful way,” said CEO Natasha Lee. “She is a rare blend of smarts, grit, and graciousness—and this promotion ensures our significant growth matches our significant operational expertise.”
In her former role as Director of Operations, Lathan’s team tripled in size and handled all company payroll, finance, HR, IT, and training. Her team also handles all of the concierge requests for the company’s clients and clinicians, including managing travel, housing, and support. Notable achievements in Michelle’s tenure with Floyd Lee Locums include implementing a new CRM, creating foundational sales training and standardized sales/recruitment reporting, and developing internal recognition programs.

Prior to joining the company, Lathan spent 10 years in the staffing space (5 years dedicated to locum tenens) working for CHG – Weatherby and Mint Physician Staffing. She is based in Florida, received her bachelor’s from the University of South Florida, and completed her master’s in Organizational Leadership at Colorado State University.
