Floyd Lee Locums CEO Named to Key Roles with The Charleston Metro Chamber

Charleston, SC, January 24, 2022 – The Charleston Metro Chamber has announced several exciting developments for their 2022 year. Key among them were two announcements highlighting Floyd Lee Locums CEO Natasha Lee. Effective immediately, Lee will join the Chamber’s Executive Committee—and has been selected as a mentor for Leadership Discovery, a program dedicated to coaching emerging business and community leaders.

“Floyd Lee Locums was built as a national staffing company, but we know that our success starts at home,” said Lee. “I am so proud and excited to join local, regional, and statewide leaders to impact the future of Charleston on The Chamber’s Executive Committee, and to relay some of what I’ve learned to the next generation of business influencers and changemakers.”

Executive Committee members represent corporations and businesses of all sizes, across multiple industries. They lead the direction of the Chamber as a whole. Each member is not only running successful businesses of their own, but their involvement in community matters makes their expertise so highly sought after. The Executive Committee and Chamber Board are led by 2022 Chairwoman, Kyra Morris, Founder of Morris Financial Concepts Inc., and Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO Bryan Derreberry.

“Part of Floyd Lee Locums’ credo is to ‘Serve Those Who Serve Others,’” said COO of Floyd Lee Locums Nicole Burleson. “Natasha leads by example in every way possible—which is why she will not only serve on The Chamber’s Executive Committee, but also in their Leadership Discovery program. She always opens the door for others coming up in business, and she is a tireless advocate for the next generation of trailblazers, lending her knowledge and contacts to others.”

Participants in the Leadership Discovery program build valuable community connections and gain skills that will directly impact their current work. In addition to mentor sessions, they receive a personalized DiSC Leadership Profile Assessment and attend a three-course business etiquette dinner. Past Leadership Discovery students include Desmond Jefferson and LaVonne Proctor from Floyd Lee Locums.

Along with Lee’s participation in Leadership Discovery, Floyd Lee Locums promotes several formal programs that give back. Their corporate volunteerism program, We Serve, is dedicated to supporting local communities through charitable giving. Similarly, their program, Operation: Career Freedom, helps returning servicemembers, veterans, and their spouses find jobs after returning from service.
