SIA’s Best Staffing Firms to Temp for list is scored by participating staffing firms’ contingent workforce. Floyd Lee Locums was a grand prize winner in 2020 and 2021 and was ranked in 2022.
Alongside its Best Staffing Firms to Temp for list, SIA conducts the Best Staffing Firms to Work for, which polls staffing organizations’ internal employees on culture. 2023 marks the third year Floyd Lee Locums has appeared on Best to Work for list. Floyd Lee Locums was one of two companies to be recognized on both rosters this year.

The SIA’s Best Staffing Firms survey is conducted each year to identify and celebrate organizations who are leading the charge in creating exceptional experiences for their internal and external talent. The Best Staffing Firm to Temp For is earned through Floyd Lee Locum’s physicians, dentists, and other clinicians across the care spectrum, whereas Best Staffing Firm to Work For is qualified by survey results from internal employees.

More than 250 firms sought participation in the program this year, which was conducted by SIA in conjunction with Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, NE-based company. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete an online survey that measured key engagement categories, focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of employee participation, based on their total number of employees. Companies were ranked in each category according to their overall score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results.
