Doctors’ Day Profile: Dr. Adedipe, Family Medicine
On any given day, locum tenens physicians are at work across the country supplementing healthcare workforces, delivering needed treatment, and lifting up communities. What many don’t realize is that locums physicians also play a critical role in providing care for large scale humanitarian efforts. That was the case when Dr. Adedipe stepped up for an assignment supporting the Afghan evacuee efforts last year.
Dr. Adedipe traveled to the East Coast and worked in field hospitals set up on military bases to welcome and care for those evacuating Afghanistan when they arrived in America—many with no resources or family with them. In order for Dr. Adedipe to focus on this critical work, he needed to know that everything surrounding his assignment was taken care of.
That’s where working with Floyd Lee Locums made all of the difference.
