Assignment Details

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Coverage: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday clinic with procedural responsibilities
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Call: Shared 24/7 beeper call with a 30-minute response time
• Hospital Privileges: Required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
• Perform office-based procedures including vasectomies, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasounds
• Perform hospital-based urologic procedures including TURP, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, PCNL, GreenLight laser prostate procedures, HIFU, Aquablation, nephrectomy, InterStim procedures, penile prosthesis, and other general urologic surgeries
• Participate in shared call coverage and inpatient consults
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary support staff

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology
• Eligible for hospital privileges
• Comfortable providing both clinic and surgical care
• Ability to participate in shared call coverage with a 30-minute response time
