Schedule

• 24-Hour Beeper Call Coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Response Time: Within 20 Minutes
• Not Required to Remain On-Site While on Call
• Required to Round and Discharge Patients

Practice Details

• Average 2–5 calls per 24-hour period
• Typically 2–4 calls per night
• Average 1–2 on-site call-backs per night
• Approximately 1–5 inpatient encounters per shift
• Average on-site call-back hours: 2–4 hours per day
• New admission and inpatient rounding responsibilities
• Athena and Cerner EMR

Common Procedures

• Kidney stone management
• Stent placement and management
• Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) consults
• Hematuria management
• Difficult catheter placements
• Inpatient urology consults and transfers

Requirements

• Board Certified Urologist
• Fellowship Training Preferred
• Ability to provide inpatient call coverage and rounding
• Comfortable with emergency urologic procedures and consults
