Urology Physician Assistant – Full-Time | Oklahoma

Overview

A healthcare facility in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Urology Physician Assistant for a full-time locum tenens assignment. This six-month opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, primarily outpatient responsibilities, and the opportunity to work alongside an established urology team. Candidates must have prior urology experience and be able to commit to the full assignment.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: September 2026
• Contract Length: 6 months with potential to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with a 1-hour lunch
• Commitment: Full-time coverage required
• Call: Potential evening call, if utilized
• Setting: Approximately 95% outpatient clinic with occasional procedure/OR support
• Patient Volume: Approximately 22 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established urology patients
• Provide testosterone replacement therapy
• Manage erectile dysfunction
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up
• Perform office-based urologic procedures within scope and experience
• Provide first-assist and OR support as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and established clinic staff

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Active Oklahoma PA license required prior to start
• Active DEA
• Minimum 2 years of Urology Physician Assistant experience
• Strong urology and procedural experience
• Clean background and malpractice history required
• Ability to commit to full-time coverage for the entire six-month assignment
