• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call

• Call Response Time: Within 15 minutes

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult orthopedic patients in both clinic and hospital settings
• Provide orthopedic call coverage
• Perform surgical procedures within the scope of orthopedic surgery, including:
  • Arthroscopy
  • Total hip and knee replacement
  • Joint revision surgery
  • Shoulder procedures
  • Hand surgery
  • Tendon repair
  • Peripheral nerve procedures
  • Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine procedures
• Evaluate emergency department consults and inpatient orthopedic cases
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient care using Athena and Medhost

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Active Arizona medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
• Active DEA registration
• NPDB Self-Query required
• Two years of case logs required for credentialing
• Professional references required
• Ability to respond within 15 minutes while on call
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
