Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage
• Perform cardiovascular consultations and patient management

• Participate in call coverage and emergent cardiac care
• Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary care teams
• Complete documentation within Cerner EMR

Clinical Scope

• Interventional cardiology procedures

• STEMI coverage and intervention as needed
• Inpatient cardiac consultations

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Alabama license or IMLC eligibility
• ACLS certification required
• ATLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• ABLS certification required
• Comfortable with inpatient and call responsibilities

Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
• Temporary privileges available
