Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Daily hospital rounds and consults during assigned weeks
- Weekend rounds/consults on assigned weekends
- Approximately 4 hours onsite per weekend day
- Beeper call after hours
- Call Ratio: 1:2
- Possible travel to an outlying office two days per week
- No in-person return required after hours
Practice Details
- 12–15 patients per day
- Consulting service only
- No hospital admissions required
- Epic EMR
- Modern cancer care facility
- Nurse navigator program
- Multiple tumor boards
- Radiation oncology nearby
- 16-chair infusion center
- 6 infusion RNs
- 3 RNs
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Inpatient consults and rounding
- Treatment planning and follow-up
- Review of critical values and urgent patient matters
- Oversight of APPs
- Multidisciplinary cancer care collaboration
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
- BLS required
- Fellowship training preferred
- Hospital privileges required
- Comfortable with outpatient oncology, inpatient consults, and APP oversight
Credentialing
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 14 days
- Temporary privileges available
