• Coverage Dates:
  • November 14 (8:00 AM) – November 16 (8:00 AM)
  • December 4 (8:00 AM) – December 7 (8:00 AM)
  • December 24 (8:00 AM) – January 1 (8:00 AM)
• Schedule: Clinical hours from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with overnight beeper call from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM, including weekends
• Call: Beeper call
• Response Time: 15 minutes
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Participate in overnight call coverage
• Evaluate and manage patients requiring gastroenterology services
• Perform ERCP procedures
• Provide care for eligible adolescent and adult patients as credentialed

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP experience required
• EUS experience preferred
• Willingness to obtain privileges for procedures on eligible adolescent patients
• American Heart Association life support certifications required for sedation privileges
• Temporary privileges available
