Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage with rounding
- Typical coverage blocks begin Friday at 5:00 PM and conclude the following Friday
- 30-minute response time requirement
- Ongoing monthly coverage opportunities

Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient rounding and consultations
- Endoscopic procedures
- Weekend and after-hours call coverage
- Coordination of GI care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Procedures
- Screening Colonoscopy
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
- ERCP (if performed by provider)
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) (if performed by provider)
Patient Volume
- Weekdays: Morning rounding followed by approximately 4–6 outpatient procedures
- Weekend call coverage with rounding as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Pennsylvania license
- DEA registration
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Case logs required
- References required
- COVID vaccination required
