A healthcare organization in Central Georgia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers flexible emergency department coverage with strong multidisciplinary support and modern clinical documentation tools.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Emergency Department
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract: Ongoing
• Schedule: Approximately 38 physician coverage hours per week
• Call: None
• EMR: EPIC with Dragon and DAX

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage emergency medical and trauma cases
• Supervise advanced practice providers as required
• Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice
• Document patient care using EPIC

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Active DEA registration with a Georgia address
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• ATLS required unless ABEM certified
• Recent emergency medicine clinical experience
• Ability to provide NP/PA supervision
