Floyd Lee Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Arkansas. This position offers approximately 10 shifts per month, 12-hour shifts, and 24-hour APP support. Arkansas licensing assistance is available.
Assignment Details
- ASAP start upon credentialing
- Approximately 10 shifts per month
- 12-hour shifts
- Hospital-based Emergency Department
- Approximately 40,000 annual ED visits
- 24-hour NP/PA support
- Allscripts EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat acute and emergent conditions
- Manage medical, trauma, and pediatric emergencies
- Perform common Emergency Medicine procedures
- Collaborate with APPs and other clinical support staff
- Manage patient flow in a busy Emergency Department setting
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery residency training
- Arkansas medical license or ability to obtain
- DEA with Arkansas address
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS
- Prior Emergency Medicine experience
- ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM Board Certification/Eligibility preferred
- Non-board-certified physicians may be considered with at least 2,500 ED hours within the past 5 years
