Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Stabilize and manage emergency department patients across a broad range of clinical presentations
• Perform emergency procedures within credentialed scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document clinical encounters in accordance with facility protocols

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Active, unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
• Active DEA registration with a Georgia address
• Board certification (AANP or ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current ATLS certification or approved trauma course equivalent
• Current TB screening documentation
• Seasonal influenza vaccination (when applicable)
• Clinical activity/case logs and CME documentation covering the previous two years
• Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
