Provider will split time between facilities within the region.

• Setting: Correctional Facility
• Start Date: Immediate upon credentialing
• Contract Length: Ongoing with 3-month minimum commitment

  • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 4x10s available
• No call required
• Coverage includes multiple nearby facilities
• Patient Population: 100% adult

Clinical Responsibilities

• Full scope general dentistry
• Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases and injuries
• Restorative dentistry and tooth replacement procedures
• Radiography and imaging
• Patient education and oral health counseling
• Travel between facilities utilizing mobile dental services as needed

Support Staff

• Dental hygienists
• Dental assistants

Requirements

• Active Virginia license required
• DEA required
• Experience with general dentistry and restorative procedures
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable working in correctional settings
