Locum CRNA – North Carolina

A hospital in North Carolina is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with optional backup call in a collaborative anesthesia practice.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: CRNA

• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Call: Occasional backup call only

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based anesthesia practice
• Inpatient setting
• Epic EMR
• Collaborative anesthesia team

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures
• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative anesthesia management
• Participate in occasional backup call coverage, primarily for cases extending beyond regular hours
• Document patient care in Epic
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and perioperative teams

Case Mix

• General surgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• Urology
• Gynecology (non-OB)
• Pediatrics (ages 8 and older)

Excludes:

• Obstetrics
• Trauma
• Cardiac
• Head/neurosurgical cases

Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA
• Active state license or eligibility
• Experience providing independent anesthesia care
• Epic experience preferred
