Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds
• Interpret diagnostic studies and adjust patient management accordingly
• Perform invasive bedside procedures, including central venous catheter and arterial line placement
• Document patient encounters, procedures, and progress notes using Cerner
• Collaborate closely with ICU nursing staff and consulting services

Requirements

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• ACNP candidates must hold Acute Care certification
• Active Georgia license
• National certification appropriate to specialty
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Demonstrated competency performing central line and arterial line insertions
• Case logs required for credentialing
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
