Non-Invasive Cardiologist – Clinic & Inpatient Coverage

Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a three-month assignment in Illinois. This opportunity combines inpatient and outpatient cardiology with general cardiology call and the opportunity to utilize advanced cardiac imaging skills.

Assignment Details

• Three-month assignment
• ASAP start
• Monday-Friday
• 40 hours per week
• General cardiology call, approximately 1:4
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Approximately 8-10 hospital patients plus 10 clinic patients
• Cardiac imaging interpretation as applicable
• Epic EMR
• No procedures required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology care in both clinic and hospital settings
• Evaluate and manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct inpatient consultations and follow-up care
• Provide outpatient cardiology evaluations and ongoing management
• Participate in general cardiology call
• Interpret cardiac studies within credentialed scope
• Echo, TEE, and nuclear cardiology expertise would be particularly valuable

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Non-invasive cardiology experience
• Comfortable providing both inpatient and outpatient care
• Cardiac imaging credentials in echo, TEE, and/or nuclear cardiology are beneficial
• No case logs required
• No references required
