A healthcare organization in Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. Assignment Details
- Setting: Surgical Services
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract: Ongoing (initial 13-week assignment)
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: Occasional weekday night call (3:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available for qualified candidates with a clean credentialing file
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical procedures
- Administer general, regional, spinal, MAC, and ultrasound-guided anesthesia
- Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, OB/GYN, urology, pediatrics, GI, plastics, and robotic procedures
- Participate in occasional night call coverage
- Collaborate with CRNAs in a team-based anesthesia care model
- Document patient care using Epic
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum of two years of anesthesia experience preferred
- Proficiency with regional (nerve block) anesthesia
- Willingness to participate in occasional night call
